Command Biographies
MALS-26 Executive Officer
Major William D. Recalde

Major Will Recalde attended the United States Naval Academy, and was commissioned in May 2006.

Following the Basic School, 2ndLt Recalde reported to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24 in June 2006 serving in various Supply department billets to include Marine Aircraft Group Fiscal Officer, Supply Accounting/Supply Response, Warehouse Management, and Assistance Aviation Supply Officer.

In November 2009, 1stLt Recalde became the Material Management Officer and Flight Equipment Officer for HMH-363 “Lucky Red Lions”, where he deployed to OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM from February 2010 until September 2010.

In February 2011, Capt Recalde reported to the Naval Inventory Control Point-Philadelphia (later redesignated Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support) where he served as the Integrated Weapons Support Team Leader for the C-130 and F-5 programs, as well as the Deputy Director for the V-22 Integrated Weapons Support Team.

Capt Recalde was selected to attend the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) as part of the Commandant’s Career Level Education Board in 2014. Capt Recalde attended NPS from June 2014 until June 2016, graduating with a Masters of Science in Information Warfare Systems Engineering.

In July 2016, Maj Recalde reported to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) as the MEU Technical Information Operations Officer.  With the 24th MEU, Maj Recalde deployed to the SIXTH FLEET area of operations from February 2017 to September 2017, serving as the MEU Liaison Officer/Technical Information Operations Officer to Commander Naval Forces-Europe/Commander Naval Forces-Africa/Commander SIXTH FLEET.

Following the 24th MEU decomposite, Maj Recalde reported to II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) in October 2017.  At II MEF, Maj Recalde served as the II MEF Technical Information Operations Officer and Operations Security Officer, where he deployed with the II MEF Command Element to the Kingdom of Norway as part of Exercise TRIDENT JUNCTURE 18, the biggest NATO exercise in over 20 years.

Maj Recalde reported to MALS-26 in January 2019, where he currently serves as the Executive Officer.
