Major Martin is a native of Georgia and graduated from Georgia College & State University with a degree in Business Administration.  He completed The Basic School in November 2014 and then reported to Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island to complete the Aviation Supply Officer Basic Qualification Course.

Upon graduation from his military occupational specialty school in May 2015, Major Martin was assigned to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 26, in Jacksonville, North Carolina where he assumed numerous division officer roles within the aviation supply department. In July of 2016 Major Martin deployed to Moron Air Base in Spain with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 where he served as the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron Detachment Officer in Charge in support of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response Africa.

Returning from deployment in February of 2017, Major Martin transferred back to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 26 where he served as the assistant operations officer.

Major Martin departed Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 26 in June 2018 and reported to Quantico, Virginia where he attended the Expeditionary Warfare School.

In June 2019, Major Martin reported to Recruiting Station Nashville, Tennessee where he served as the operations officer and executive officer.  After completing a successful recruiting tour, Major Martin reported back to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 26 in July 2022 where he served as the assistant aviation supply officer until he assumed the duties as the squadron’s executive officer.

Major Martin is a graduate of Resident Expeditionary Warfare School, holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in General Business, and has a Masters of Science in Logistics Management.

His decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with gold star, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with gold star.
